MU Send Spies Watch Roma Midfielder
Manchester United (MU) has sent “spy” to witness the appearance of AS Roma player, Lorenzo Pellegrini, in the game against AC Milan, some time ago.
The 21-year-old, playing well for the Giallorossi on his way to the San Siro. The game was finally won 2-0 Rome.
However, Pellegrini suffered an injury in the game. As a result, he resigned from the Italian squad to face Macedonia and Albania.
MU is said to have long followed and monitor Pellegrini’s progress. So far, he has made six appearances for Eusebio Di Francesco’s team and recorded two assists.
The owner of number 7 has a clause of about 25 million euros, as stated in his contract at the Stadio Olimpico.
Pellegrini is a product of the academy of AS Roma. However, Rome finally decided to move Pellegrini to Sassuolo in 2014/15 season.
At Sassuolo, Pellegrini gets the flying hours he wants. Two seasons in Sassuolo, Pellegrini appear 53 times and scored 11 goals.
Pellegrini counts as a multiposition midfielder. He can be placed as a central midfielder, or attacker pit.
